When René Hourgaard designed the Torino table, he thought of flexibility first and foremost. His design is the ultimate in modern furniture design combining aesthetic beauty with practical minimalism. The Torino table – designed for both office and home is a fresh take on a traditional dining table. BoConcept has won us over again with their stunning yet practical Danish design.
With versatility being a key consideration in René’s design process. The Torino can be used in a range of locations from restaurants, boardrooms to your own home. Join multiple Torino tables together for a family or business event, giving it a seamless look – the possibilities are truly universal with this design.
As a dining table, the Torino can be styled up or down depending on the occasion. It is a bespoke and deceptively versatile dining table design. It is as suitable in a small apartment as it is a larger house. The 12mm table top allows for ample space underneath the table, so the sky’s the limit. Don’t worry about the style of modern dining chair that can be used with it. The slim but strong table top is finished in a white matt lacquered surface, which allows light to radiate easily throughout your space. You can also choose between white lacquered legs for an all white look or oak legs for a nice contrast.
The sides of the table are angled at exactly 90 degrees so that you can easily join another table onto it. It gives the look of one long sleek dining table at home. The organic curved lines of the legs give it an elegant nuance, as the feet of the table appear like droplets on the floor, adding a light and airy feel to your space.
The simplicity of this design makes it practical for a dinner party or feeding your family everyday. It is the ‘one size fits all’ of tables and practical for any space or occasion. So if you like to restyle your dining area throughout the year, or have multiple events you want to use it for, this table is ideal.
